====== Fixing Microsoft Fax Viewer ======
Often, after installing Apple [[http://www.apple.com/quicktime/|QuickTime]] Player, you may find the ability to view multi-page faxes received as [[wp>Tagged_Image_File_Format|TIFF]] files may be lost.  In many cases removing the offending Apple product does not correctly restore the functionality of the original Microsoft Picture and Fax Viewer.  This article describes how to achieve this.

Tested on Windows XP up to and including Service Pack 3.

Ensure you log into an account with Administrative rights and download the following registry file:

Double-click the downloaded ''.reg'' file and click ''Yes'' to confirm you wish to add the settings to your registry.  You should then receive a message indicating the information has been successfully imported.

Test opening a ''.tif'' Fax and ensure that the Microsoft Picture and Fax Viewer is launched.
